These are my ten photos, in roughly the order they will appear in the book:





































































































These photos depict the feeling of a child coming inside after playing in the snow. They begin with a few shots that set the scene: snowy clothes lying in front of a door, boots drying, a sled pushed out of the way, a chair looking out at the snow. Then it moves on to pictures that show the feeling of warmth inherent in the moment. There are photos of warm food, a fireplace, a couch covered in blankets. They are intended to illustrate a sense of comfortable safety.
